Hello, friends!
Today, I have a Christmas card that I made using the December stamp of the Month, which is not a Christmas stamp. Sometimes, when you look beyond what a stamp intended use, you can come up with something great!
Let me show you this month's set FABULOUS set that you can get for only $5 if you spend $50 or more in my Close To My Heart online store!
I just love the mason jar on this one! Adorable!
For this card, I used watercolor paper. I stamped the image using Versamark ink and heat embossed it white embossing powder. Then I watercolored the image using a watercolor pen and my stamp pads. This technique is so fun and easy. I might do a tutorial next month!
The holly is from the Joyful Garland stamp set and 'Christmas Greetings' is from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set. I really love how this turned out!

Melanie, I love how you used this stamp set for a Christmas greeting....a great sentiment and pretty card. But, I also have to comment on the background where you have the strings of light with the mason jars....I love that look too and could be used in a LO.
Oh Gosh Melanie what a precious card. You so used this stamp set to create a most loving card. I too love the way you used the stamps to achieve your amazing and outstanding look.
You truly are one talented stamper so thanks for sharing your fabulous ideas I'm definitely inspired...and I so agree wit Coelle definitely would make a beautiful addition to a Lay out!
YOU so ROCK!!
Love this card, Miss Melanie! I am a HUGE sucker for embossing and love the soft effect that you got with the white and watecoloring. Yummy!
Like the mason jar look of this. Was wondering if you have been using any SVG files lately? I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 recently and after upgrading my use of SVG files were ok but yesterday I had to unzip the files first to be able to upload. Any help or thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
