This year I will be making a few gifts for Christmas. Also, I made myself a few things to wear during the holidays!
When I saw these cute necklaces in the Holiday catalog, I got really excited. Everything about them screamed my name. I liked the aqua color and the mix of whimsy and elegance these little pictures have. The icing on the cake was the teeny tiny bells and snowflakes! Seriously adorable!
These sweet necklaces are so easy to make. I will have a video next week to help with the visual. However, I will walk you through it in this post in case you wanted to get started on these straight away.
Close To My Heart sells the chains, the charms, the plastic covers, the pictures, and pendants. You have a choice of silver or gold, plus there are rectangular, circular, square, and oval pendants.
To make these beauties, you will need the items listed above plus some liquid glass.
- Simply, choose your image and stick it in your pendant of choice. - Then put small dabs of liquid glass in each corner.
- Next, add the coordinating cover and then press together firmly until dry.
For mine, I used both chains and ribbons. I even heat embossed one of them with my first initial to personalize it. There are so many things you can do with these necklaces, you guys! You can use stamps, photos, or Cricut cuts!
Don't forget that I have a video coming next week, so you guys can have a visual!
