Today, I have a card for the Bitten By the Bug Challenge. This week we were asked to make something with a pumpkin. Who doesn't love a cute pumpkin? Anyway, I made this card using the Artistry cartridge and a couple of different stamps.
The background of this card was stamped using the Botanical Background stamp set and then I colored in the leaves and berries using the Shin Han markers. I had no idea if this was going to turn out ok or not. I felt like I was taking a huge risk. Luckily it turned out!
The sentiment was stamped using the Blessings of Autumn hostess stamp set from the Holiday catalog. Any order placed over $150 this month will get one of these great stamp sets for FREE! Email me if you have any questions! Here is what this stamp set looks like.
The cut behind the pumpkin was tweaked a little in Design Space. If you use the file, you can just cut and go. If you are not using Design Space, you may have to get creative. I think you may have to cut out the shape a few times using different colors and then snip it with scissors. The important thing is that you have an extra banner piece that goes across the front of the pumpkin.
If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Artistry Thankful Pumpkin Card
If you do not, here are the sizes:
pumpkin - 2 1/4"
shape behind pumpkin -2 1/2"
