Hello, my sweet friends!
I hope you have enjoyed the posts so far this week. They have all taken a lot of time to compile, so I hope you guys liked them!
Let's talk about this card. You might have noticed it in Tuesday's post. I snuck it in there and then got a ton of emails about it. Today was the day I planned on showing it, so you can all take a deep breath. :-)
This card is made using the Artistry (seriously, folks this cartridge is really good) and the Lovely Layered cards cartridges. Also, making its seasonal debut is the stamp set I used for the sentiment/focal point. It is called Holly Jolly Christmas and coordinates with the Artistry cartridge.
To make the focal point really pop, I stamped it in black ink, then coated it with Versamark Ink. Next, I sprinkled it will clear embossing powder and heated it up with my heat tool. The end result is a shiny and almost epoxy look. I really like it and will do it again.
If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Artistry Christmas card
If you do not have an Explore, here are the sizes:
focal point (Artistry) - 2 and 1 3/4"
patterned background (Lovely Layered cards) - 5"

Just a lovely Christmas card....your embossing ideas really add to the beauty. And what a 'show' we've had this week...know how time consuming that had to be for you. Thanks for taking the time to do it....was so interesting to see.
