Today, is the very first day of school and this year my little one starts middle school. Eeeek! I cannot believe that my baby is a middle schooler. It is complete craziness. I have to admit it will be nice to have the house to myself today though. No one will tell me how bored they are!!
Since it is Monday, I have a simple card that I made for the weekly challenge over on the Bitten By the Bug blog. This week, they wanted us to make something with a friendship theme. To me, nothing defines friendship quite like a pet. This Cricut Artistry cartridge has several cats and dogs. They all are in silhouette and have a heart cut out. Cute, right!
I took one of the circle shapes included with Design Space and made it into a flat oval. I really felt like the kitty need a shadow of sorts. She was kind of floating with out something to ground her.
If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Artistry Kitty Cat card
If you do not have a Cricut Explore, here are the sizes:
cat - 3 1/2"
pointed shape - 1"
