It's Thursday, ladies! Can you believe it? Wow! This week has flown by. My guess is since today is the last day my little one is in school the clock was sped up. I love summer, but my son can be a challenge at times. How many days until September 1st? *wink*
Today, I have a card that I seriously love. It is a card that has watercolor and ice cream! What is not to love? This stamp of the month is adorable for sure. Every time I use it I want to take a trip to Baskin Robins. I am totally going to gain weight this month because of this set. Whoever designed this at Close To My Heart, should have to pay my Weight Watchers member fee for the month.
To make this cutie patootie card, I stamped the little popsicle treats randomly on watercolor paper in various pastel colors. Then, I watercolored the popcicles using the same color they were stamped in. This is something I will definitely do again. I just love how it looks!
The sentiment was heat embossed in black. Then, I added a little bit of water coloring to dress it up. I even highlighted the word happiness in thistle as a dreamsicle hang out of my mouth. Seriously, folks! You have no idea how lucky I was that drips of sticky goodness did not end up on the card. I was close a couple of times. Do not craft and eat. It is dangerous!
Get this stamp set! You are going to love it. Maybe put a lock on your freezer though. *wink*
