Lime Ombre card

Lime Ombre card

All About Stamps Thursday
Hello, friends!

Today, I have a card that is  made using the Taste of Summer stamp set and several green shades of ink. This card looks so much better in person.

To make this card, I used the Brushstrokes stamp set for the water colored effect. I started with the lightest green first and worked my way down. Then, I stamped the lime using Versa Mark ink. Next, I used white embossing powder and heat embossed the inked image.

Mmmm....I love lime! Lime popsicles and pop. Lime cheesecake and yogurt. Even lime jello! And your pretty green ombre card is no exception! The various shades of green and the slice of lime in the center with the sparkly drops scattered around are so cool and yummy.
Thank you for sharing this sweet card...now I have to go check out the fridge. :)

Especially like the white heat embossing of the Lime w/ the green watercolor brush strokes in background.
I also like Lime as in Key Lime Pie & Lime Jello. I like the smell of grated Lime as well as Lemon. Definitely hungry for some Lime something.

Beautiful card, Melanie...who would guess brush strokes could end up looking so pretty...and then embossing makes it perfect!
