It's Friday y'all! I hope you have all had a great week! Anyone have any fun plans for the holiday weekend? We are going to Houston to visit my brother and his sweet family. I have not seen them since January, so I am very excited!
Today, I have a card that is pretty silly really. I was brainstorming good saying for my fruit cards and 'orange you glad' popped into my head. Then, I had to come up with the second portion of the sentiment. I knew for sure I was going to put it in the inside of the card. 'We're friends' seemed like fun, so that is what I ended up choosing.
I used the Fast Food cartridge and Artbooking to make this card. Also, I used another FREE font called KG Two is Better Than One for the sentiment on the outside of the card. If you do not have this font, you can get it here. It is also cut into the banner using the slice feature. This very thing font would never have cut this beautifully at this size with the Expression. Seriously, folks, this machine is pretty fantastic!
The orange slices are from stamps which are listed below.
If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Orange You Glad card
If you do not have an Explore, here are the sizes:
lattice overlay (Artbooking) - 5"
banner (Artbooking) - 2 1/2"
orange juice (Fast Food) - 3 1/2"
'orange you glad' (KG Two is Better Than One) - 1/2"

Joan said it all & in a fruity delicious wonderful way. I especially like the striped paper showing thru for the words on front & the sparkle on the orange slice that makes it look like a candy treat.
