Cricut Happy Daffodil card

Cricut Happy Daffodil card
Hello, friends!

Today, I have another card made using the Anna Griffin Flourish Cards and Embellishments cartridge. This cartridge was included with the new Cricut Air and was sold as a bundle from HSN. I suspect it will be available directly from Cricut at some point if you did not get your hands on it.

I did some more water coloring for today's project. Seriously, ladies, I am having a ball using this technique. This time I used water coloring pencils instead of ink. I have not decided which is easier yet.

Again, I used the Stamp of the Month (which is pretty terrific, ladies!) and a daffodil stamp set. It is called A Little note. When I saw this set in the Winter Seasonal Expressions catalog, I actually squealed. If you have been following this blog for any amount of time you know how much I love daffodils. I actually planted some this year. I will post pics as soon as they bloom!
A Little Note
Now, since the frame was smaller than the daffodil stamp set, I have to do some clever stamp masking. It is not hard to do, just a tine bit tedious. Totally worth it though!

If you have an Explore, here is the file: Cricut Happy Daffodil card

If you do not, I cut it out at 5 and 1/2". Then I trimmed the white piece across the top.

The embossing folder I used is called Matelasse and is from the Anna Griffin cuttlebug line.
