June stamp of the month!

Today I have a card I made using the June stamp of the month (Kaboom) and another SVG. Now before any of you tune out because I used an SVG from Miss Kate's Cuttables (http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/4th-of-july/freebie-of-the-day-july-4th-set.php), we need to have a talk. It has been brought to my attention that not all of you like when I show SVG's and not cricut cuts. From not on, when I do this I will include names of cartridges that have similar cuts if there are any. Yesterday's cherry card had several (Preserves, Country Life, and Cherry Limeade to name a few).

Now that being said, I will not stop showing SVG's. I love that the new machine will let me use them from time to time. Any time I make something, it is meant as a jumping off point for your creativity. If you want to make the exact thing that is fine, but know I am here to inspire you to make these projects your own.

You guys can ALWAYS email me when concerns or questions. Please do not put questions in the comment section as I do not always see them.

Ok, back to the project. The stamp set I used is great for all of those fourth of July projects you might do this season. It actually coordinates with the Art Philosophy cartridge, so making projects with it is a snap! Other cartridges that would be great to use are Artbooking, Independence Day, Something To Celebrate, and Block Party. There are others, but that should get you started!

Your card is so much fun to look at! I am so happy that you share your talent and creativity with us. It's your blog and you can show us anything you want to make. I use your ideas as suggestions to think up new ways to put cards together, not to re-create what you've made. Thank you! BethAnn M.

Awesome crackerjack card. You have no idea how much you've inspired me, both in life challenges and in your creativeness. I admit that I do replicate your cards at times, but they are often the base idea for my own creativeness. I thank you for your creativeness and the joy you bring to me and others who follow you. You are one rockin' crafter!!!!

Great card! As for SVG's, use whatever fits your design. There are over 200 Cricut carts - surely if someone doesn't want to use other SVG's, they can find something comparable in a cartridge or on CCC. Me, I use them both.

This is the best 4th of July card I've seen...your ability to create these cards every day is amazing...it takes me so long to work out colors, and design even just for small cards let alone 12 x 12 pages. Your designs help so much in getting me going!!!! Thanks!

Love the card! I can't figure out where you used the red shimmer trim. I have to agree with the other comments - your cards should be ideas and suggestions - and just like someone could buy the stamp or the cart, they could choose to buy another machine also. I love that you are willing to give suggestions for other carts to use. Thanks for sharing so much with us!

Bam!!! Wow...this is AWESOME!! I love the fun papers, firecracker and the stars look amazing! GREAT inspiration!
I think it's awesome you use SVG cut's as well. There are a lot of carts out there that you can find with similar cuts that work perfectly. I would think you would want to make it your own anyway...be inspired by the idea and create your own project! LOVE your work-thanks for ALL you do!!
