Pineapple Welcome card made using the Artiste and Preserves cartridges.

Before I get going, I know some of you have seen on this blog's Facebook page (as well as Joy's blog) that I had to have a CT scan yesterday. Well, it looks like I have a tumor in my right lung. They do not know if it is malignant yet, but I should find that out sometime early next week (let us pray). Thank you for sending me all of the well wishes as this came completely out of left field (never smoked or anything) and I am pretty scared. Your words of comfort have been very helpful and even more appreciated!

Just so you all know, it is still business as usual over here. I plan on pushing through no matter what. I would have to be pretty sick to walk away from this blog and my wonderful blog friends! Know that you mean so very much to me and I will keep churning out good stuff for you. Please don't stop placing orders thinking that I don't need the hassle! This is my main job, so it is not hassle at all!

Ok, let's talk about this project. I made this one using the Artiste and Preserves cartridge. When I saw the word bubble for the stamp of the month that said Welcome, I thought it would be super cute coming from a pineapple (the symbol for welcome for those that do not know). Anyway, I wanted to make it bright and cheerful. It would be something great to give a new neighbor or member of your church.

Mel - I know you are a positive and brave young woman - anyone facing the unknown would be feeling vulnerable right now. I can tell you that those who love you will be traveling with you, wanting to "fix it" and not knowing how is so hard but... I trust you are in the hands of good medical folks who will do all they can. God Bless and prayers going up for good news...

Like the Pineapple Card. When I visited O'ahu Hawaii I enjoyed visiting a Dole Pineapple Plantation & tasting the many different varieties. The island of O'ahu does not export any of their pineapple; the pineapple there is for consumption on the island only. I will say a prayer for you & know that we are here for you.
