Artiste Happy Happy Birthday card

Thank you all so very much for the sweet comments about my room. It is a place in which I spend a lot of time and I love it very much! Once my curtains come, I will post pics of them as well. At some point, I should make a decision about what color I will paint the room. My guess is it will be some shade of aqua or yellow. I will keep you posted.

Ok, I did get a question about my Cricut cartridge storage. I use Snapware Snap 'n Stack Ribbon Dispenser 2 Layers. I put the actual cartridge in the smaller compartment and the overlay and booklet in the larger one. This is the best way I have found to store your cartridges if you have a lot. If I had my way, I would have them still in their boxes on a shelf. That is how I stored them for years and loved it. Being able to easily look and see what you have is always ideal. However, when cartridges were coming out at a crazy rate, I had to find a space conscious option.

Now onto the project. This card is made using the Artiste cartridge, Ariana paper pack, and a couple of new stamp sets. If you like Anna Griffin, you are going to want this paper pack! I love love love old vintage looking floral patterns and this paper packs has a gorgeous one! There is also a stamp set (called Pick A Posey)in the catalog that compliments this paper pack well. I plan on using it to design some pretty stamped paper!

One of the stamp sets is called Big Top and coordinates with the Artiste cartridge. When I first saw it, I knew it had much greater potential than what was represented in the catalog. For example, who thought this would go well with a floral project?

I love this patterned paper so much! Anything vintage looking with cabbage roses on it, makes me very happy!
I stamped the flowers on a scratch piece and hand cut them out. Then tucked them behind the circle.

PRETTY CARD, MEL.
I TOO USE THE SNAPWARE AND HAVE THE TOP LITTLE BOX FOR CUTOUTS I HAVE DONE, THE NEXT BOX WITH DIVIDERS FOR MY 50+ CARTRIDGES AND THE BOTTOM BOXES FOR THE BOOKS AND MATS. I WENT SO FAR AS TO REMOVE EVERYTHING BUT THE ENGLISH DIRECTIONS FOR EACH OF THE BOOKS AND THEN PUT THE CARTRIDGES AND THE BOOKS AND MATS IN ALPHABETIC ORDER. lol IT DOES MAKE IT EASIER TO FIND EVERYTHING.
