Hello, friends
Before I get going talking about today's project, I wanted to let you guys know there has been a change in how Provo Craft will handle the $9.99 subscription in regards to the new Explore machine. You will be able to cut SVG's with out having to pay for the subscription. It will be something that is included with the mew machine free of charge. The subscription will include the full access to images from previous cartridges that are not licensed, (about 25,000 images). I have edited yesterday's post to reflect this change. I want you to be able to refer to that post later on if you need to.
I will be sending out the Spring/Summer catalogs next week, so be looking for those in the mail!
Today's card is made using the Wild Card 2 cartridge and a few stamp sets from Close To My Heart. One of them is retiring soon, so if you are interested in the stamp I used to make the sun rays (it's called Pennant Patterns), get it before it's gone!
For the eyes of this happy little sun, I just used a black journaling marker. They are not perfect, but they add to the handmade feel of the card.

To make the background paper I simply alternated stamping Juniper and Crystal blue ink. I am sad this stamp set is retiring because I feel like the possibilities of this one have not been discovered quite yet. |

It's -1 degree here in Michigan this morning so the sunshine card is much appreciated! I'm embarassed to ask this, but what actually is an svg file? I am not very computer savy as you can probably tell! Send some Texas warmth our way please!
Loved the way you used alternating colors and designs for the sun's rays. Great card chosen to bring good news about cutting SVG's with the Explore. Martha in Leonard, TX
Precious card today - and I'm so glad to see Provo Craft listen and change that policy - I think without the change the Explore would have been a bust. Now - it has a great chance!
