Hello, friends!

Happy Friday, y'all! Today is the first day of summer. Since I live in the Dallas area that means the sweltering heat will commence. Hopefully most of you are living in a nice climate where summer time means outside fun.

Today's project is made using the June stamp of the month and the Artiste cartridge. I am really going to miss this stamp set when it is gone because it has been so much fun to work with! You know how I am with flowers. I seriously cannot get enough of them! I tried to step out of my comfort zone a little bit with the card by not layering as much as usual. It was tough, but I am glad I did it. From time to time, it is good to push yourself and try new things when crafting.

I used Sweet Leaf, Sorbet, Buttercup, and White Daisy cardstock.

I used Sweet Leaf, Sorbet, and Black ink. For the shading, I used the mini pigment pads in Sorbet and Sweet Leaf.

The sentiment is from the June Flowering Bunch stamp set. I added some detail with a white pen.

The patterned paper is from last month's special.
