New blog info and a recipe!

Hello, friends!

As you can see the blog's facelift is complete. I could not love it more. It is so very 'me'! If you have a blog and are thinking of getting it redone I highly recommend http://designerblogs.com/!

Now I have had some new features added that will make navigating my site easier. Also, I now have a F.A.Q section to help answer some of your questions. I get lots and lots of emails everyday. They are quite often very similar and are all represented in the F.A.Q section of this blog. I urge you to read that section before sending me an email as your question might be answered there.

All of my social media stuff is on the left hand side of the blog. Check that out as well.

I made a project for today, but I received lots and lots of requests for the Pumpkin Dump Cake recipe. I thought I would just go ahead and post it, so you guys can enjoy the absolute yumminess of the fall desert over the weekend. If you make it please let me know what you think!

There will be a giveaway announced on Monday as kind of a re-grand opening of this blog. Also, a little while back I hit the 1 million hit mark. What better way to celebrate than with a great giveaway, so make sure you check back in with me. You are not going to want to miss out!

Oh and one last thing..do not email me angry that you are worried that this blog is turning into a recipe/cooking blog. It absolutely isn't. One recipe does not a food blog make. I know it is crazy that I have to include this, but sadly I do ;-)

Pumpkin Dump Cake recipe (pumpkin pudding)

2 (15 oz.) cans of pumpkin
1/2 t. salt
2 T. pumpkin spice
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 (14 oz. can) sweetened condensed milk

Topping

2/3 package of yellow cake mix
1 1/4 sticks melted butter
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix all ingredients except topping together and place in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
Gently Sprinkle cake mix over the top. Then sprinkle the pecans. Lastly drizzle the butter.
Bake at 350 degrees for an hour. I serve it with cool whip.

Now don't forget about my October specials!

October Specials

Back by popular demand, I am giving away one E2 Cricut machine to a lucky customer. To be eligible to win, you have to place an order on my Close To My Heart website this month. That is it! I will draw a winner November 1st.

The October stamp of the month is a total must have! It is called Very Merry Christmas and coordinates with the Artiste cartridge, so if you have that cartridge you are going to want to snatch this up! It makes tag making a total snap!

As always, this stamp set (retail price of $17.95) is only $5 with any order of $50 or more!

Now don't forget that you can still buy the fabulous Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges, so if you have not taken the plunge yet, come on in the water is great!

Have a GREAT weekend!

Love the new look. As for adding the recipe I would like to think people would like to see just how multi-talented you are. Hey this cake and a sweet card make a great hostess, new neighbor, whatever gift don't they?

I love the new "improved" blog design. Liked the other one but this one is really out there. Like it. We know that you give us good ideas for cards and scrapbooking. A good recipe now and then won't hurt us. TFS.

Thanks for sharing the Pumpkin recipe. I make a Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake for Thanksgiving that my daughter likes. She does not like Pumpkin Pie but likes the Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake version.
