Hello Thursday April 2011

Hello, friends!

The best day of the month is finally here! It's Hello Thursday and it is quite a release this month! There are 4 NEW Cricut Lite cartridges, 1 Full Imagine cartridge, 2 Imagine pattern cartridges, 1 full cartridge(that is a part 2 of a favorite of mine), and 5 'Best of' cartridges! Now because there is so much being released this month this post is seriously long, but you know that you will be able to see something from all of them.

Now lets talk about this month's giveaway! I am giving away awesome cartridges!

Martha All Occassions Cake Art cartridge and Rock Princess

To win you need to be a follower of this blog and leave a comment on this post. I will draw for the winners next Thursday!

Bump in the Night Cricut Lite
This cartridge is great for those of you who have little ones or are just plain grouchy like a monster *wink* I have seen monsters like this all over the place in the scrapbooking world, so this must be a trend.

I used Bo Bunny paper.
I cut this little monster out at 4".
The font is from the NEW American Alphabet cartridge that is on the new E2 machine.

Beep Beep Cricut Lite
Another great one for those with little ones or grandchildren...or know some children. I can see using this one a lot for scrapbooking and birthday cards for the little ones.

I used Close To My Heart paper.
I cut the ambulance out at 3 3/4".

Paper Lace II
I am going to sound like a cheap perfume commercial here, but if you loved Paper Lace I you will just adore Paper Lace II. It has lots more of those wonderful overlays and lacey shapes the other one has, but this one seems to have more masculine things on it. Also it has a font and some really great word art!

I used DCWV paper.
I cut the butterflies out at 2".

Crocs Rule! Cricut Lite
When I was told the name of this one initially I was worried it would be about the Croc shoes. It was such a relief when I found out it was about the reptile! There are a ton of cute things on here that don't necessarily have anything to do with crocodiles. Everything I have made so far with it does not have one reptile on it. It is definitely worth a look. Don't let the name make you pass this one by.

The paper is DCWV.
I cut the cloud and raindrops out at 4". The hearts are from Don Juan and were cut out at 1/2".
This stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
Yeehaw Cricut Lite
Ok, I was born and raised in Texas. In fact, I have lived here all my life except for the three or so years I lived in England. However, I am NOT into country themed things. Yet, I have found many cuts on this cartridge that are perfect for me and don't have a whisper of cowboy boots. This is another one that has great cuts on it, but the name could turn some people off. Make sure you take a good look at what it has to offer before dismissing it!

The paper is from DCWV. The ribbon is Papertrey Ink.
I cut this cute tag out at 5". The lettering is from Don Juan.
Teresa Collins Baby Boutique Imagine cartridge
I have never bought one Teresa Collins item...ever. I know what you are thinking..'You don't buy Teresa Collins because you are too busy loading up your cart with Bo Bunny Double Dot paper'. Which is totally true! I never make it to the Teresa Collins isle because I am over on the Bo Bunny isle. However, this could turn me into more of a fan. I see a lot more uses for this cartridge then baby stuff. I love the monogrammed font!

The ribbon is from SU!. The blue paper is printed out using my Imagine.
I cut the little bird out at 3".
The stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

Teresa Collins Black and White Imagine Pattern cartridge

One of the great things about this cartridge is how you can totally change your already patterned paper by printing the black print on top of it. I am not a huge black and white fan, so I came up with this idea to add new life to some of my older papers that I find kind of boring. I will be doing this a lot now I think! Also, you could print the black and white pattern onto solid colored paper which will add lots of pep to plain colored cardstock!

The paper is from October Afternoon, but I printed the black number designs on top of the pattern paper to give it new life!
The stamp is from Close To My Heart and the ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.

Vintage Damask Imagine Pattern cartridge
This is one of my favorites of the release believe it or not. I just love the patterns on this cartridge and have printed out several full sheets to have for other projects. The monochromatic patterns are just beautiful.

The ribbon is from Close to My Heart. All papers are cut out using the Vintage Damask Imagine cartridge and the NEW Paper Lace cartridge.
I cut the medallion out at 3".
This stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

Best of 2006

The back ground navy blue paper is printed out using my Imagine and the NEW Vintage Damask paper. The other paper is from DCWV.
This stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
I cut these beautiful sunflowers out at 3".
The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.

This card was made and posted over a year ago, so I am not sure the sizing. However, this does give you a great idea of how awesome this heart cut is!

Best of 2007

The paper is from October Afternoon.
I cut the title out at 3".
The books are cut out at 3".
This is another older card, but how cute are those polar bears! I was thinking of those Coca Cola commercials when I made this.

Best of 2008

This is a layout I made over two years ago for my BIL's wedding album. Those bells are fantastic!

A bag I made the Christmas before last, but this wonderful wreath will be included on this new cartridge.

Best of 2009

I have used this beautiful flower lots! I am so glad they chose it for this cartridge!

This is not a very old card. I made this a few HT's ago to showcase an Imagine pattern cartridge. This Paris cut is FAB though!

Best of 2010

This is one of my favorite owl cuts EVER!

This little boy blue silhouette is so adorable! It is great for layouts, but would also be great in a nursery!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I hope you like what you saw and are inspired to check out a few of these cartridges.

Now it's time to hop on over to Joy's blog and check out her wonderful creations! She is one of my most favorite designers! She also has a great giveaway!

I tell you, what's a girl to do with all these choices? I simply love the Teresa Collins sophistication, and also love the simplicity of Yee Haw! Every single one of these carts are fantastic! The Best Of cartridges are a great idea, as sometimes it is just not possible to get every single cart. Now I can have some images of ones I did not have the pleasure to own. Fantastic!
