Hello, friends!
Today I have a birthday card for my little one that I made using the
NEW Baby Steps cartridge. This cartridge of coarse is going to be thought of as a baby cartridge, but that is so not true. There is a really great font on it and it has some really fun shapes like this scalloped oval. I know that this oval will be very useful for those card makers out there. Also, it would be great for scrapbook page titles or journaling spots.

| I cut the 7 out at 2". The oval is cut out at 2 3/4". |

Great card....Your idea is spot on it can be used for so much and this card for any age and gender thanks so much for a simple but outstanding idea...sometime the simple gets overlooked by not by Melanie.....you have a gr8 week-end my dear!

It's hard to find or make boy cards, so all the help I can get is greatly appreciated! Love the card. I can think of several adaptations.

That scalloped oval would be a perfect shape to cut my cookie dough using Cricut Cake... BABY STEPS cartridge is next on my wish list!

I love this card...so cute. I like how you used the new "baby" cartridge for a seven year old. Shows that we need to look beyond the name of the cartridge to see how much it has to offer.

The versatility of this layout makes it double the usefulness, if that makes sense. You can use it for a boy card, girl card, or the layout as your said.
