Wishing you rainbows an sunshine card made using the NEW Groovy Times cartridge!

Hello, friends!

Today I have another card made with one of the new cartridges. Don't be fooled by Groovy Times 60's and 70's appearance. It can be used in lots of other ways that are not quite so psychedelic. Both projects I have made using this cartridge do not have a 60's or 70's feel at all. I particularly love this rainbow! It just seemed so happy! FYI when cutting this rainbow you will start at the bottom. The first cut is the blue. Then the base shift would be the green. This is good info to have because I cut this rainbow completely backwards when I first attempted it.

The paper is from Bo Bunny and the stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
I cut the rainbow at 1 3/4".
I used a glitter paper for the clouds.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I will see you all back here tomorrow!!

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Really cute card. How do you always have the perfect stamp. Do you have a great storage solution for stamps?

LOVE this card and the sentiment! I just might need to get this cartridge strictly for the rainbow!

If I don't get a chance to stop back by during the rest of the week Melanie...wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

BTW...your Christmas cookie recipe was a hit! I've named them the Holly Jolly Cookies!

Oh,I need this cart.My spring lesson for sunday school we made rainbows this would be perfect for the kid to do.It take so long for the kids to cut out each craft ,so I try to do cricut cut when I can.And all they have to do is glue the crafts together, our time is so short & this helps.

This is a great card & your sentiment stamp is perfect...maybe I need to concentrate on building up my stamp stash! Thanks for the reminder about keeping an open mind about this cart (& lots of other carts fall into this category as well)...so what you're saying is that I HAVE to get them all? Right??!! That's my story & I'm stickin' to it ;)

You can use the one you cut in reverse. I've seen rainbows both ways! I've even seen twin rainbows (one in each direction). Isn't God good to let us use even our mistakes because He doesn't make any!

We could use a rainbow here in California! It has been super soggy and I can't even remember the sun! Thanks for a little light shining through your project!
