Today I have a card I made with the new Straight From the Nest cartridge. I have to admit this cartridge is my least favorite of the new release. Now don't get me wrong, I still love it. However after my initial look at what this cartridge could do, I was not as blown over as I was about Give a Hoot or Just Because cards. Although, when I started looking at it closely I started to find images that I really liked jumping off the page at me. This little orange tree is one of them. Now I am not sure it it is supposed to be an orange tree, but when I first noticed that is all I could see. Now I see many cuts that are just my style that I am so glad this cartridge included. Cricut always does this.....just when you think you would not want a cartridge, you notice all of these cuts and you realize you totally need that cartridge.
The tree is cut at 3 1/2" and the grass is cut at 2 1/2". The paper down to the cardstock is Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is Verve.

Very sweet card. I love orange trees I used to grow them in Fallbrook, CA. Just looking at the card makes me remember the sweet smell of the blossoms. I miss that.
