Hanna Montana birthday card

Hello, everyone! Today I have a card I made for my niece, Katelynn, who just turned 7. I used the Hanna Montana cartridge and a new CTMH paper line. Let me tell you the truth, I almost did not post this because I was not crazy about how it turned out. Also, it was not an easy through together. Yes, it took a couple of hours to make a card this unattractive ;-) I had a good plan....the perfect paper....the perfect cartridge. *sigh* Oh well, you win some you lose some.

I am still trying to recover from our crazy CHA trip. Boy was that a great time, but very exhausting. It was a dream come true though!

Have a wonderful day!

It must be the CHA blues, thinking you did not do a good job, when you really did!! Love how you did the name!

Step away from the card for an hour or so then come back. I'm sure you'll like it then and so will your niece.

It's not bad at least. Hang on to it and you'll probably pull it apart eventually and make a better one.

Don't feel bad. Can't win them all & you probably win 99%. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just think of ways to improve it next time you do it. It turned out fine.

I love this card. I even have the hanna montana cart. Will have to do this. This cart is so nice. I had 5 people this weekend use this cart and just loved all the features.

Melanie I think you did a great job on the card. It doesn't look like what I was thinking a card from the Hannah Montana cartridge would look like (to tell the truth I've never looked at the cartridge because of the subject matter) but it's a cool card. Take another look at it in a day or two.

When you recover from your trip and are all rested up you will see what a wonderful job you did on this card. You are just too tired. It really is beautiful.
Now take a day off and rest your mind. It has to be swimming after all that it had to take in this past weekend. Thanks for all the updates.

I like how you changed up the papers and used the cartridge. Even though it's not always our favorite outcome, sometimes it turns out to be good anyway. TFS

Like everyone else, I too like the card. Have never even considered this cartridge because I have a family of boys so may have to go take a look now cos that could be a good cut for a boy layout.

Really like the card. The colors are perfect together, hank you for sharing your talent!

I really LIKE this design. Maybe it's the colors that you don't like. I, personally, think it would have been awesome done in turquoise and black or another combination. These colors are not terrible to me but they just don't do the design justice in my opinion.
