Happy Monday

Hello. friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We had family come last minute that we did not expect which was wonderful, but kept me very busy! Now back to the grindstone though.

Did you guys get any Christmas shopping done over the weekend. I have one more gift to get and I will be done. You have no idea how happy I am about that. Now I have to wrap them and make gift tags ;-)

I wanted to announce the winner of the Cricut machine from my Black Friday special. Congratulations Katrina Brown! This will be shipped out soon!

If you guys want to do some cyber Monday shopping be sure to check out Cricut.com today. There are lots of good deals to be had and I believe that sometimes you have to buy yourself a Christmas present so you for sure get what you want! They have Cricut machines for $99.00 and cartridges up to 30% off!

This week's giveaway is a Snow Day cartridge.

Here is a card that I made using the Snow Day cartridge!
I used Bo Bunny paper and Close To My Heart cardstock.
I cut the little girl out at 3 3/4".
I used a retired stamp from Close To My Heart called A Sip.

This week I will be posting Christmas projects like tags and quick cards, so be sure to check in!

Important announcements

Hello, friends!

First, I hope you are all safe and dry and that none of you received too much damage from that horrible hurricane Sandy!

Secondly, I have three important things to share with you today.  If you are also a follower of my other blog, you have most likely seen the announcement of the closure of Everyday Cricut. This decision has not come easy for us, but it was something I needed to do for followers of this blog and myself. You guys do not always get my best because so much goes into running two blogs. I want those of you who really enjoy my projects to get your money's worth. I was able to juggle both and push out quality for a while, but it has become harder and harder to do so.

I used to live and breath crafting and because of the vigorous schedule of running two blogs, it has made it not fun anymore. Making this change will hopefully bring back the joy I had in crafting. The best thing is I can post more often now and my projects can go back to being  higher quality.

This blog is still sponsored by Provo Craft and my projects will remain Cricut heavy.

Next, I want to let you know that I am going to start to have weekly giveaways similar to Everyday Cricut. This will start Monday, so keep your eyes peeled!

Last, I want to let you know is that today is the last day to order from me and qualify to win the Cricut E2 machine and get your paws on the October stamp of the month!

October Specials (LAST DAY)

Back by popular demand, I am giving away one E2 Cricut machine to a lucky customer. To be eligible to win, you have to place an order on my Close To My Heart website this month. That is it! I will draw a winner November 1st.

The October stamp of the month is a total must have! It is called Very Merry Christmas and coordinates with the Artiste cartridge, so if you have that cartridge you are going to want to snatch this up! It makes tag making a total snap!

As always, this stamp set (retail price of $17.95) is only $5 with any order of $50 or more!

Now don't forget that you can still buy the fabulous Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges, so if you have not taken the plunge yet, come on in the water is great!

You have asked and I have listened!

Hello, friends!

I have been receiving lots and lots of questions about the NEW ART PHILOSOPHY cartridge. Therefore, I decided that perhaps a few tutorials are needed.

Starting Monday morning I will start my week long run of tutorials which will include:

Making  3d flowers
Cut-Stamp-Elevate tutorial
Box tutorial
Using the card feature on Art Philosophy

I am certain that after the coming week's tutorials have comensed that you wonderful people will be creating with your new Art Philosophy cartridge with wild abandon! You will even be able to implement these lessons while using other cartridges in your library.

If you still have not purchased the Art Philosophy cartridge, you can do so by clicking here =>

Melanie's CTMH SITE

If you guys have any further questions, please feel free to include them in the comment section of this post. I will do my best to work those questions into this week's tutorials.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

PEACE, LOVE, AND CRAFTS!
