Cricut Orange You Sweet Scrapbook layout

Hello, friends!

Today, I have a scrapbook layout that would be good for pretty much any cute picture you have of your children or grand kids. 

I made this layout using the Preserves and Cherry Limeade cartridges. I also used a font from my computer called Janda Happy Day. It was a FREE download, so if you do not already have it click here. 

This layout is also made using the Taste of Summer paper pack. Don't forget, folks, that this paper will not be available after this month. If you like it, snatch it up soon! If you have not yet taken the Explore plunge, here are the sizes:
orange (Preserves) - 4 1/4"
you (Janda Happy Day) - 1"
'orange' and 'sweet' (Cherry Limeade) - 3/4"

I actually used the slice feature, to cut the 'orange' and 'sweet' on the center of the orange. It is much easier to do that than placing the letters individually. I will have a video on this next week. 

The oranges on either side of the center orange cut are from the Taste of Summer stamp set.

The strip of oranges on the photo mat next to the ribbon is a strip from the bottom of one of the sheets of paper. I just love the additional prints that are included at the bottom!

Cricut Summertime Sweetness scrapbook layout

Hello, friends!

Today, I have a layout made using the Artbooking, Preserves, and Everyday Fonts cartridges. I had a lot of fun designing the title! 'Summertime' was cut using a font I downloaded from the internet for free. It is called Champagne and Limousines (download here). One of the great things about using Explore is I can cut whatever font I have on my computer. This gives me so many options it is hard to choose sometimes!

The paper I used for this layout is the special of the month, Taste of Summer. Also, the little fruit embellishments are made using the complimenting stamp set of the same name. 

I was able to make my own journaling spot from scratch using the Documenting Moments stamp set. I have always loved stamp set that have lines for this very reason.

If you do not have an Explore, here are the approximate sizes:
Orange (preserves) - 1 1/2"
Strawberries (preserves) - 1"
'sweetness' (Everyday Fonts) - 3/4" and welded
'summertime' (champagne and limousines) - 3/4" and cut out of the rectangle using the slice feature.
