Happy 30th Birthday!

Hello, friends!

Before we get going with this card, I wanted to tell you that there is a 'retiring products' section up on my ordering site. Everything in there is while supplies last and includes a lot of great stuff! Like the gold embossing powder, pearls, craft heater, and versa mark stamp pad that I used on yesterday's card. Click here to check it out ==> retiring products

Today I have a project that I made a few months ago, but was not sure if I would post it or not. However, I thought I might as well because you guys might be able to pull some inspiration from it. Honestly, I had made something similar about 3 years ago. Is it weird that I inspired myself?

Anyway, this card is made using the Forever Young and Botanical cartridges. I love using older cartridges sometimes! Now for the stamped lettering I used the fonts stamps from the triple stamp set that was on special a few months back. However, you could use any font stamp set or even cricut cuts. Using the stamps is great for skinner fonts because those are sometimes harder to cut with the cricut.

Hi card made using my Cricut Imagine, Blossom, Cindy Loo, and Forever Young Cricut cartridges.

hello, friends!

Sorry this is being put up late! One of my favorite cousins is dying of brain cancer and I was up at the hospital all day yesterday with her. It is truly awful! She is only 36 and has 4 children under the age of 12. They expect her to pass today, so I am not sure if there will be a post tomorrow, over the weekend, or Monday. I will do my best though. There is so much family coming in and I really want to spend as much time with them as possible.

On to the card...

This card is made using the Blossom Imagine cartridge, Cindy Loo and the Forever Young cartridge. I love that I can use any cartridge with a pattern and texture Imagine cartridge! It just opens up so many possibilities!

I used papertrey ink lemon tart ribbon.

The flower is from Forever Young

I used the Cindy Loo cartridge for 'hi". Isn't that a fun font!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a terrific Thursday!

Thank you card using Stamping Solutions cartridge

Hey, guys!

This is another card that I made using a cricut 'wallpapering' technique that I like to use. I cut out all of the circles from Forever Young and the sentiment is from Sentimental.

Sorry for the lack of wordy post! I am just on the run today.....no, not from the law ;-) I have class and a little puppy to tend to. I need a vacation!

Have a great day!!

Forever Young thank you card

Hello, everyone!

This is the card that I demo'ed at CHA. As fun as it was doing the demo with Joy on the stage, I do not think my future is in stage demonstrations. I was so nervous before I did the demo. As a small girl I thought I would love to be a stage performer, but now I realize that life on the stage is not for me! Like I keep telling Joy...I just like making pretty things!

I made this VERY easy card using Forever Young. I think the flowers on this cartridge are REALLY cute. They are so fun and versatile!

If anyone has any really good tips on house training a 10 week old puppy let me know. We are trying to crate train her and it is going ok so far, but we are not there 100%....who am I am kidding we are not even close! I can't get irritated with her though because she is so cute! I will have to post a picture of her soon.

One last thing, if you have not already checked out Scrapguy's blog...you really should! He has fantastic give-aways and even better projects and videos. I met him at the super show and absolutely adore him! He is one of the funniest people I have ever met!

Have a great day!!

Forever Young flower thank you card

Hello, everyone!

Believe it or not I was not a huge fan of the Forever Young cartridge when I first saw it. It reminded me of that CTMH stamp set that was so popular last year with the silhouetted women. I was never crazy about that stamp set, so it meant that the cartridge was not going to be one of my favorites either. However, it has some really cute flowers on it that I absolutely love!! This card was made with one of those adorable flowers.

the paper used is October Afternoon's 'Farm Fresh' line. The stamp set is from CTMH and the ribbon is Papertrey Ink. The frame for the sentiment is a sticker that came with the October Afternoon paper.

Have a wonderful day!!

Forever Young 18th birthday card for the picky teen in your life

Hello, everyone! Happy New year!! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday. I know I have!

Since we are starting a new year, today is the day we start our resolutions to improve certain things in our lives. One of my resolutions this year is to post more on this blog. I have been so busy with Christmas with the Cricut I have really neglected this blog. I am telling you that starting today I am going to make a huge effort to post more cards and layouts on this blog. As a matter of fact, I have a posts queued for every other day this month until the 25th. I plan on making more to finish the month off as well. I have decided not to give myself a mandate, because just like any other resolution as soon as I let myself down I will stop trying. Instead I am just going to make more of an effort and not be so hard on myself when I fail. I am still in college after all and that Christmas with the Cricut blog is not going away anytime soon. I know I will sometimes stumble, but plan on standing up and dusting myself off and moving forward.

So, on to today's card....

I made it using the Designer's Calendar cartridge for the '18' and Forever Young for the silhouetted woman. The paper that I used was the Basic Grey 'Wisteria', which I just adore. The stamped sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Have a wonderful rest of your holiday weekend!
