Hello, friends!

Before you guys stop following me because you think this blog has gone to just iron on vinyl, know that I only have two more to show. However, I will not be showing them until next month. This is the last of the iron stuff for a bit. I have scrapbook layouts, home decor, and cards made for next week!

Ok, when I started making these shirts it dawned on me that I could make my son a Batman or Superman tee-shirt as well since Provo Craft has both of those cartridges. I mean you could really go to town making great things for your kids with iron on vinyl and your cricut! Just think of all of the possibilities with the Disney, Spongebob, and Hello Kitty cartridges! I may have to make myself a Hello Kitty one! I just love that little kitty cat!

This week's prize is the Creative Cards cartridge!

Get ready for action! card made with Batman cricut cartridge

Hello, everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I know I am!

The birthday party went well for the most part. My Ethan is going through a shy stage and was not crazy about the spotlight being on him. He actually said to me "Mommy do I have to hug that mouse?". He wanted no part of Chuck E Cheese. Oh well, next year we bowl ;-)

This is the birthday card I made him using the Batman cartridge. It was cut at 5 1/2". I highly recommend never cutting this anything smaller. There are very small pieces that were a challenge at this size. I cannot imagine how tricky it would have been any smaller.

Have a wonderful Sunday!!

Batman Valentines for my son's kindergarten party using the Batman cricut cartridge

Hello, everyone! Today Joy and I are doing a super hero Valentine blog hop. We are also both giving away the Batman cartridge and the Superman cartridge. All you have to do is sign up to follow both blogs and leave a comment. We will each draw a winner on Wednesday of next week.

On to the valentines.....

I was so excited to get this cartridge because I knew that I was going to be able to make really cute Valentine cards for my son's kindergarten class. He really loves batman, so I got his seal of approval very quickly after I told him my plan.

This was cut at 41/2 inches and the only layer is the yellow bat. So, making large quantities of this project is super easy. I actually made 22 in about an hour and a half.

For the inside I just cut the paper 4" x 4". Then stamped it using a few stamps I had in my stash including a halloween stamp set that has the little bat you see. I went for total simplicity with this project, but you could add a little more for a bit extra. Maybe some glitter or liquid glass.

Now on to the giveaway....

Leave a comment on this post and sign up to follow this blog and on Wednesday I will draw for a winner of the very cool Batman cartridge. Even if you do not have a little boy like I do, it is a good one to have simply to make cute cards for any little boys in your life.

If you have not already been over to Joy's blog, make sure you head there now. She has made the cutest Superman Valentine card that any husband would love to receive. She is giving away a Superman cartridge to one lucky person who has signed up to follow her blog AND has left a comment on her Superman post.

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend!
