Today, I have a simple Christmas card that you can make both cheaply and quickly! I chose non-traditional colors, but you could certainly use shades of green instead of aqua. You could even use patterned paper as long as it isn't too busy. If you are trying to decide what to do about this year's Christmas cards and want something quick, but elegant, this is your card!
This card can be dressed up as much as you like by adding rhinestones, shimmer trim, or pretty much anything sparkly! Click here for an assortment of embellishment options => Embellishments
I used the Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge for this project.
Here is the file if you have an Explore ==> Simple Christmas card file
If you do not have an Explore, this card has an extra step because Cricut Craft Room does not have a 'slice' option. You would need to trim the cut down using your trimmer.
The file includes the rectangles that go behind the word art. If you do not use the file, you will need to use your paper trimmer to cut out these color strips.
-Buy the Artfully Sent Bundle for $99
(a value of $125)
- Buy the Stamp of the Month for $5
(a value of $17.95)
- GET a surprise! (a $6.95 value)
- GET 2 extra stamp sets for FREE!
(a value of $13.90)
That adds up to $163.80 worth of crafty goodness for only $104

ReplyDeleteTFS your Merry and Bright card. It is darling the way you did it. I want to try it with red or green foil or glitter paper underneath and bling it up as you suggested. Isn't it fun how we can be inspired to put on our own twist or simply copy your amazing ideas! I don't know if you can make this big enough, but wouldn't it be pretty if matted, and in a frame?
ReplyDeleteI love that card with the non-traditional colors, so pretty.
