Hello, friends!
Today I have something really fun! I noticed that the machine came with several different projects to decorate your machine and your carrying bag that is included. They are all really cute, but I decided to design my own.
The flower is from the Anna Griffin bundle that came with the HSN special. If you have not bought your machine yet, but want some of the Anna content including this flower, it will be released in May for purchase.
The font is Don Juan. I have always loved this font and I thought it went perfectly with the flower. I have the file below, if you would like to make this for your Explore!
You will need:
Yellow vinyl
Green vinyl
White vinyl
Aqua vinyl
Dark aqua vinyl
Vinyl transfer tape
Cricut Explore Vinyl Decal file
I will be back tomorrow with the Explore carrying bag project.

Oh Melanie you decoration came out so pretty. Love the colors you chose too. My Explore was delivered last night so I'll be learning it as I go. What a beautiful flower cut and the font you chose is so cool.

ReplyDeleteWith Joanne's having their National Crafting Month sale on, I gave in to temptation and ordered more cartridges at $20. One of them is the chalkboard fonts. When I wanted to make cards yesterday, I realized I didn't have any! Your projects always turn out awesome, Melanie. Is it always on your first try? Thanks for sharing?

ReplyDeleteHad the Cricut Expressions 2 and a week later they announced the Cricut Explore. I returned the Expressions and ordered the Explore on HSN and it is going to talk until April 25 for delivery.

ReplyDeleteWhat a darling design, Melanie! I always love what you do, but I'm especially happy that you mentioned the Don Juan font. I have it, but I'm not sure that I've ever used it. Sometimes it's really great when designers refocus our attention on products we ALREADY own and can make more use of, in addition to highlighting the new stuff. Thank you! I never really LOOKED at that font until now. It IS really nice.
