Artiste Just Because card

 Hello, friends!
 
Today I gave a fun card that I made using the Artiste cartridge and the Cloud Nine stamp set. I mulled over the design, but then I remembered a cuttlebug embossing folder (part of a set called Skyward) that I have that has clouds on it. After that it all just came together.

After I embossed the cardstock I took sandpaper to it to expose the white core. Then I traced the outlines of the clouds with a white pen.

    The sun is always there behind the clouds. What a lovely card to cheer someone up and remind them that there is a silver lining to every cloud. You brightened my morning!

    Love the colors you chose too.

    What a great card, and I love "Just Because" cards, they always come in handy when someone needs that special squeeze and hug, especially from afar. Thinking I'm going to have to get this card set.

    I'm really enjoying what you have been doing with the cloud 9 stamps. The colors of the papers in the kit are not my style, but I love the stamps.

    I love this card! I like the embossed clouds and I like that you use several layers to matt your cards. I want to work on that more. It adds a real dimension and beauty. They look very complete, put together. I like that. Thank you for continuing to inspire us.

    I'm a huge fan of "just because" cards. I love to surprise a friend or family member with a "just because" card. I learned this from my mom years ago. She was an expert at sending cards. (I'm nowhere as good as she was, but I try!)
