with Sympathy card made using the Lovely Floral cartridge.

Hello, friends

Today I post the last sympathy card. I hope I did not bum you guys out this week. Now remember just because it says 'with sympathy' on the card does not mean you can't change the sentiment yourself to 'thank you' or 'thinking of you'! Actually these cards this week have been versatile enough to include wedding congratulations or elegant birthday cards. Please remember that anything that I make is just a jumping off point for you. I want to inspire you to use your cricut more, but don't feel restricted to make things exactly the same. Change the sentiments to work for what YOU need. Change the colors we use to what YOU like. Substitute the cartridges we use and use YOUR favorite cartridges instead. At the risk of sounding like a cheesy commercial, with your cricut the only thing holding you back is your own creativity! The sky is the limit, folks!

Today's card is made using the Lovely Floral Cricut Lite cartridge.  This one has so many things on it that would be great for sympathy cards!

I cut this wonderful flower spray at 4 1/2".
I used more of those wonderful opaques from Close To My Heart to jazz up these beautiful flowers.

I used a Papertrey Ink stamp.

Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Beautiful card. Sympathy cards are the hardest to make, but perhaps the most important to give.

Question: Are you aware that your images are not clickable? I always like to view things up close to appreciate the detail.

Yet another pretty card. I'm grateful for the reminder that these projects can be adapted to suit. It's a no-brainer, but easily forgotten. I also appreciate them fully, in your incarnation. Sympathy cards are very difficult for me to conceptualize. Your examples will help to take the sting out of the process.
