French Fry back to school teacher gift tutorial using CTMH Art Philosophy!

Hello, friends!

Today I have an easy gift you can make for your child's teacher. I think CTMH Art Philosophy is the only cartridge with a french fry box. When I noticed it on the cartridge I kept seeing it filled with pencils like yellow french fries. If you cut the box at fit to size on the expression it fits about 48 pencils.  Not bad really!
All the supplies are from Close to My Heart except for the adhesive and the pencils.

The papers I used are called Typeset from Close To My Heart.
I cut this out using the fit to page feature on a 12" x 12" mat.
I scored the box using my score pal.
Adhered the tabs using Terrifically Tacky Tape from Provo Craft.
The box is fairly intuitive on how it is assembled. Not complicated at all!
Then I decided to add a few decorative bits that coordinate with the paper. They are canvas stickers called Typeset Compliment Canvas Shapes. Love these!
See the ric rac across the bottom. I think I will add one across the top too.
These shapes are cut out using the Art Philosophy cartridge. The circle was cut out at 2 1/2" and the pinked circle was cut out at 3".
I decided to use this stamp set for the circle because it has a matching pinked circle called Connections.
This is the ink I used.
I added another canvas sticker. The texture is really cool. I wish the cricut would cut canvas!
I cut these two shapes for the sentiment at 3/4".
I then stamped it with the Pair - a - Phrase stamp set and black  ink. If you are interested in this stamp set I will tell you how you can get it for FREE at the end of my post.
I used this ribbon. It is the Designer Green Collection.
I cut a length of ribbon and adhered the two end to the center.
Then added it to the box.
Then took another piece and trimmed the ends.
Then I added it to the top of the other bit of ribbon.
Then I added my embellishment to the center.
Then just add the pencils!
Now if you are interested in this fantastic cartridge and/or the current Close To My Heart promotions you have come to the right place!

Not only will you get the stamp set shown above, but you will also get a Typeset stamp set for free if you purchase the Stamp of the Month for only $5.

  23. Another great project. I was wondering... can you post some tips on how to choose the best papers to use together? When I make cards they look cluttered or plain or something and I know it's because I don't put the right papers together. All of your projects have the look I want to achieve, but can't. It doesn't come naturally to me I guess.

  53. I do not know how you are custom Bottle packaging boxes. The reason is that the buyers have several options and many bulk display boxes show a list of templates for this purpose. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful piece of information. The above information is directly relevant to Oil Packaging Boxes that will help the buyers learn more about packaging options.
