Big Birthday Wishes card made using the NEW Cricut Car Decal cartridge!

Hello, friends!

I am so sorry this post is going up late! I went to my cousin's funeral this morning and it turned into an all day event.

Well, this is one of my favorite cartridges and not for the reason it was designed. I fee like the Cricut Car Decal cartridge is great for paper crafting! I will be using this tons! It is the perfect cartridge for little kid's birthdays or scrapbook pages for your little ones. It is a great cut with just two layers! I usually go for the multi-layered cuts, but this is definitely an exception to that rule!


I cut this little tricycle cutie at 4 1/4".
The cardstock is from Core'dinations and the patterned paper is from SU!
The stamp is from Papertrey Ink.

    Melanie, that card is super cute! I wouldn't even had pictured one of those cuts on a card! Love it layered on the white to bring out the pink!

    I hope today was a starting point to helping your family heal from the pain of losing your beautiful cousin.

    That card is adoreable!! I have to agree, I wouldn't use the cart for it's original intention, but it made a great card!

    You are the master of finding nontraditional cuts and uses for the Cricut images!!! :) After seeing what you do with them, I don't think there's any cartridge I wouldn't want to buy!

    That came out soooo cute Melanie! I also wanted to say "THANK YOU" for this upcoming weeks posts on Everyday Cricut! I think it is a wonderful idea to post Sympathy cards.... Because we will all need them at any given point in our lives.... I make them quite often... not for me personally but when I sell my cards... that is the most requested type of card out there.... So I do make a lot of them.... and to me a personal card to say "I'm there if you need me" is soooo important when someone looses a loved one....
    I'm still sending prayers your way to you and all of your family for this Huge Loss this past week...

    I think that Provo Craft has no idea of what true gems You and Joy are for them, This cart held absolutely NO intrest for me until I saw your card. Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us! I am so sorry for the loss of your cousin, and hope that time heals and allows you to think of happy times with her.
