Just rosey thank you card using Copic markers, nesties, and papertrey Ink stamps.

Hello, friends!!

I made an 'A' on my test!! Woohoo!! I am so glad all that work paid off! It is always so stressful taking a test from a professor for the first time. You never know what to expect. It is such a relief now that I know!

Anyway, this card is not made using anything Cricut. However, if you do not have nestibilities you can can cut out a similar shape with your cricut. I am sure something similar exists.

I used SU! paper completely on this card. Also, the ribbon is from SU!
I stamped the images on colored patterned paper, added some shading with a gray copic marker(C1), and hand cut the pieces out.
Using my air compressor and a copic marker I airbrushed this nestibility shape. Then I added the rhinestones using tweezers.
I have more stuff that I am posting this week, so don't forget to check back in!!

Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

  5. Ohhhhhhh mmmmmyyyyyy (in my best George Takei imitation), that's gorgeous!! Is that Year of Flowers: Roses? and look at that background stamping! and the airbrushing, and I'm studying those roses carefully so I can learn to shadow like that (since I have about no chance of taking a copics class in the near future).

BTW I did my first Papertrey Ink blog hop Saturday. For a minute I forgot where I was lol. Love PTI!!

  9. Melanie, I know exactly what you mean about tests! Thankfully this is my last semester of Biochem, but I just started in a new program and it is hard adjusting to new professors. When will you be finished?

And your card is very pretty. That flower is so gorgeous.

    Hugs,

  23. I just got to see these nesties you talk about in person the other day. They are neat but I forgot to ask can they be used with the cuttlebug? I saw them in action with a Big Shot.
