Have a goodie card made using Lovely Florals Cricut Lite cartridge and copic markers

Hello, friends!

Today I have a card that I made using the Lovely Florals Cricut Lite cartridge and my copic markers. This nice scalloped image is just perfect for stamping an image and coloring it in with your trusty copics. Forget nestibillities...try one of these shapes instead!

The scalloped shape is cut at 4". The stamp used if from Papertrey Ink.

The paper is the Bo Bunny Double Dot. Speaking of which I am going to have to get some more because I am running low!

I hope you all are having a great week! I went to the dentist yesterday because I was having trouble with one of my wisdom teeth....so if that tells you what kind of week I am having. The worst part is I can't get them extracted until August!! Oh well, I guess I have waited 16 or so years to do it. What is a couple more months. Have I mentioned how freaked out I get by even going to the dentist? It has not been a great week ;-)

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. What a sweet card! I don't have any copics yet - I've been spending $$$ on all those new cartridges. I'm waiting to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow so I can buy all the stuff I really need. lol

  16. I love this card! I really like the cards made with the copic markers, but I'm leery of spending the money on those with all I have spent on all of the other inks and pads I already have, but this almost convinces me to make the jump! It's such a refreshing card! Thanks for sharing yet another idea and cartridge with us.
    Blessings, Donna

  19. Fabulous card. Love the shaped circle you used, but I still love my nesties, ugh. But this cut used with the nesties would really be a plus. I love the copics too. I only have about 30ish. Definitely need to add to my collection. Since they are so costly, maybe you could suggest the best way to start buying - individually, by the lg sets, or small groups of the same color shades.

  24. I had both of my sons get theirs out last summer. It didn't cause them any pain. They just had to sleep the first day, and rest for the next days after. Hope you have the same type of experience. Great card and cartridge for cards. LOVE the image with the copics, too!

  43. Great card! I grew up in a dentist's office so I don't get scared easily, but the trick is to get ice packs on it RIGHT away. have someone you trust come with you and literally the minute they're allowed to see you have them come in and put ice packs/frozen peas on your cheeks. You'll be fine!

  57. Beautiful! So excited that I got Celebrate with Flourish yesterday. It's a good thing the Walmart I went to only had 3 carts to choose from because I am so torn about which ones to get.

Question: Recently one of your posts or Joy's posts mentions the best go-to set of Papertray Ink stamp sets to purchase. Can you please tell me which one it was? I am loving all of your sentiments.

  80. Bless you Melanie. So sorry to hear about your teeth. DH just had one removed today and so it's been a terrible day, terrible week since he went last week and found out what was causing his pain! Stitches come out next week, hopefully then the summer will get better for us. LOVE the card. That flower stamp is AWESOME. The frame is lovely!! TFS!!!

  81. Oh Melanie...What a pretty card! The colors are wonderful and I still LOVE that Paper... Can you tell me where you get yours at? I have a LSS but they carry very little and I want all the colors of the Rainbow!!! LOL
Also wanted to add that I know having your wisdom teeth out is nooo fun! I had mine pulled out about 10yrs. ago and I do not like the dentist either! I did get lucky with the dentist I had at the time...he was very gentle... but it was sooooo painful.... I know...you didn't want to know that, but it wasn't painful for days and days just maybe 2 days... 1 of my wisdom teeth was sooo stuck that they had to cut my gums (OUCH!) and stitches were in that spot... but it was well worth it once it was all done! :) I hope I didn't scare you! it really isn't that bad! :)
