Get ready for action! card made with Batman cricut cartridge

Hello, everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I know I am!

The birthday party went well for the most part. My Ethan is going through a shy stage and was not crazy about the spotlight being on him. He actually said to me "Mommy do I have to hug that mouse?". He wanted no part of Chuck E Cheese. Oh well, next year we bowl ;-)

This is the birthday card I made him using the Batman cartridge. It was cut at 5 1/2". I highly recommend never cutting this anything smaller. There are very small pieces that were a challenge at this size. I cannot imagine how tricky it would have been any smaller.

Have a wonderful Sunday!!

  1. What a super cool card! I bet Ethan loved it :)

Shy stage or not, but I don't think I would ever hug a giant mouse hahahaha ... I assume it is a giant mouse though, I don't know what chuck E cheese is really hahaha :)

  6. Even without the Chuck E. Cheese hug, I bet it was a great time. Our girls both had their birthday fun there, but of course, opted for homemade food and cakes for supper. ;)

Love the Batman card. I'm sure it was a hit.

  17. That turned out great! Thanks for the tips on the size. I'm about to try this cartridge out to decorate my 3 1/2 year old's room. Just got him Batman bedding and curtains. Trying to entice him into sleeping in his own room (formerly my scraproom). (awillmon39@aol.com)

  20. cute card melanie. oh chuckie cheese brings back fond memories of the kids when little and still at home, not. i am just kidding. of course i miss my kids, lol, just glad they are older enough to move out, lol. the empty nest can be quite nice.

all serious now, melanie enjoy them while they are young. it seems like yesterday when mine were that age. i know people tell you this when you are younger, but the years really do start to fly by.

    glad you had fun

  57. Cool!!! I just made this card a few weeks ago for my dd's friend's birthday. So funny that I cut it at the exact same size too!! You at least find the eye and use that. I end up lost the "eyes" and just use my Signo pen for the white of the "eyes" and two black dots. :) Hope the party went awesome!

  58. Now I loved Batman when I was a kid. I'm jealous of this cartridge and the new generation who will love it too!

  59. Love the batman card. My son would be so excited to get this card. He loves the Justice League and all the characters...this is right up his alley. Very well done! He also was not a fan of Chuck - started crying every time he came out of the back. 4 years later - now he loves him (he brings extra tickets:)
