Cricut Sweet as Ice Cream card

Hello, friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I definitely did. Saturday was my birthday, so I got to eat at one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas! Also, my loved ones got me a yummy white chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Yes, all of the good stuff that happened this weekend revolved around food. What can I say? I like to eat.

Today, I have a project for the Bitten By the Bug blog challenge. This week we were asked to make a project using ice cream. At first, I was not into this challenge at all! Ice cream in January? Then, I started to like the idea (see the above paragraph). Why not turn this into a Valentine's Day card?

I used the Cheerful Seasons and Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridges to make this project. I know there seems to be no rhyme or reason to my cartridge selections anymore. Those of you out there who have an Explore, understand why. When you can put in a topic or a shape that you are looking for and hundreds of choices come up, you are bound to have some interesting pairings.

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Sweet as Ice Cream card

If you don't, here are the sizes:
Ice cream cone (Cheerful Seasons) - 3 1/2"
sweet (Sweet Tooth Boxes) - 1 1/2"
hearts (basic shapes) - 1/2" and 1/4"
