Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Floral Hello card

Hello, friends!

Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Floral Hello card

Today, I have a card that I made using the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge and a flower stamp set that is beyond beautiful!

Let me tell you, ladies, I love a double stamp floral set. They make me feel like I am actually making art. When I saw this stamp set in the Seasonal Close To My Heart catalog, I nearly lost my mind! No one will be surprised to hear that I have to temper my use of flowers when crafting. Seriously, I sit at my desk and think about how you guys are probably tired of seeing me use flowers. Recently, I felt pretty good, so I spent several days in my craft room and made several weeks worth of blog projects. About half of those projects have flowers. It would have been far more than half if I had not been thinking about what you guys might want to see instead of what I felt like making.

But I digress...

The 'hello' is a cut that is embedded in another cut. To get it to cut out all by itself, I used the 'hide contour' feature. That feature is available in both Cricut Craft Room and Cricut Design Space. I popped it up using dimensional adhesive so it would pop right off of the page.

Something to note, that Seasonal Expressions catalog I talked about in the beginning of the post is good until the end of March.

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Floral Hello card

If you are sans Cricut Explore, the 'hello' is cut at 2.15" high and 4.58" wide.

  7. A person can never have too many flowers...in real life or in crafts. They are all so amazing.
I love the pretty pink blossoms you have fussy cut to put on your card with the hello. The scattering of pink blings and the edge stitching are a lovely way to finish it off.
I like the hide contour feature on the Cricut programs. It's so interesting what just removing a few lines can do to make an image more versatile.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful card and the handy tips! :)
