I hope everyone is having a lovely year so far! Today, I have a project for this week's Bitten by The Big challenge. This week I am in charge of the challenge and though it would be fun if everyone made something with their most favorite Cricut cuts. My thinking was that this would be an easy challenge after all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays. This ended up being far from the truth.
Cricut has made so many wonderful images through out the years and picking just one was impossible. For me, I thought it would be easier to go outside of just Cricut cuts and use an SVG. Lame, I know, but I just couldn't think of one cut that I liked more than another.
After much thought, I went through SVG's that I own and found one that makes me smile every time I see it. As most of you know, I am a flower junkie! I really really love flowers! Most of my favorite flowers are spring bulbs like daffodils, irises, and tulips. This cut has both a daffodil and a tulip. What more could I want?
There is no file, unfortunately. I am unable to share files that include SVG's. It is likely cut at three or so inches high.
I bought this SVG from SVG Cuts in a bundle. |
I hand stamped the background paper with a new stamp set (called Assorted Edges) that came out last month. It has several options to choose from, but I again chose the flowers! |
The sentiment is also a new stamp set called Happy To Be Friends. |

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! It would be perfect for an Easter or Spring Greeting as well as a special birthday card. I love the pretty, layered blossoms.
ReplyDeleteThe stamped floral background is perfect! And well done. I would have thought you would see things running in lines or edges since they are edge stamps. It all blends in so well.
