Today I have a fun and uplifting card I made using the Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I has a simplistic look, but I like it. You could easily add glitter or patterned paper to it though and it would still be pretty darn cute!
One thing that I should point out. I must have not scored it exactly, because the darker blue color is showing down the side. However, I really love how that mistake added a pop of color and fun to the card. Don't be so hard on yourself when you mess up, ladies. Add a button or a sequin and move on!
If you have an Explore here is the file for the card ==> Close To My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge Sun card
Otherwise, here are the handbook pages and sizes.

Love love love!!! And figuring out how to work around your mistake....genius. I'm convinced we crafters are brilliant because we HAVE to think our way out of a jam so as not to waste supplies. Amiright ladies? LOL

Ahhh...I love the hot air balloon popup you created inside your card. Our community had a hot air balloon festival the first of September and we had one land on our front lawn. They are soooo huge! You don't realize it from the ground when you are looking up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this fun and uplifting card. Beautiful work! :)
