Mom monogram mother's day card made using the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake Art and Artiste cartridge.

  Hello, friends!

For this week's Bitten By the Bug 2 challenge, we  had to make a Mother's Day card. This was great because if it is girly and has flowers I am on it ;-)I really love how it turned out and hope that my mom loves it. I did not have a color scheme in mind when I started, I just kind of went with the flow.

Cartridge wise I used the Martha Stewart Elegant Cake cartridge (the flowers, garland, and initial) and the Artiste cartridge (banner). As many things as I have made using this Martha Stewart cartridge, I do not think I have cut this garland. I think it would also be good for home decor. Maybe you could put your Family's initial in the center. Either way, you just cannot go wrong with either one of these cartridges!

I used Close To My Heart cardstock (except for the purple which is core'dinations).
I used adhesive backed pearls for the flower centers.

Don't forget this week's giveaway is the Damask Decor cartridge!
