Cricut Happy Pansy card

Cricut Happy Pansy card

Hello, friends!

Today, I have a very cheerful card that I made using the NEW Spring Fling cartridge, my Cricut Explore, a stamp set (Wavy Blooms) from the NEW catalog, and the Cricut Pens

I think this card looks pretty fancy, but was fairly easy to make. I was not sure using the Cricut pens would be as easy as everyone had claimed (the old markers never really worked right) and I was unsure how it would even look. Let me tell you, it was not hard to do at all and I love the end result.

If any of you are confused, let me explain. The NEW Spring Fling cartridge is made to be used in conjunction with the pens. The cuts come pre-attached to the outlines. I took them out, but honestly they seemed somewhat boring with out them. I will do a video on how to do this soon, so stay tuned.

If you have a Cricut Explore, here is the file: Cricut Happy Pansy card

What better flower to announce spring than a sweet little cluster of pansies! I love their sweet little faces in the garden but since most of my flower beds are still under about four feet of ice and snow, maybe I will have to create a card of them to do for now. :)
I love the colours you have chosen and the little aqua sequins and washi for trim.
Thank you for sharing and Happy Easter to you and your family! :)

Had not heard of the Spring Fling cartridge. Like the pen look of the Pansy flowers. Like the use of the sequins. I'm still getting familiar with my new Cricut Explore. I'm confused as to why I cannot hide cuts with the Contour option. I leave the image and the Contour option indicates it will not allow and I sliced the image separating the parts and still cannot hide. Can you please help?

Beautiful card, I can see those Pansy's poking their heads through the snow adding that special POP of color to the landscape. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Easter.

Darling card. Melanie. amd I didn't know that Cricut was making carts that used both the pens and cuts. Thanks for sharing this with us as the card is just darling.

What a great introduction to the Spring Fling cartridge. I never knew that it worked with the pens. Thank you for sharing this card with us!

Hi, Melanie!
Thank you so much for sharing your files for the Explore!!! I love the pansy card! I did have a problem re-creating it, though. It's probably something I did wrong, but the piece with the pansies outlined in pen and then cut appears to be substantially larger than the other pieces and I can't get them to fit together properly. Can you give me a tip on how to do it? I pray for your health and thanks, again!
Blessings and hugs!

Can you tell me how to import your cricut design space projects? When I click on your file, it takes me to the design space, but I don't see the file.
