Cricut Explore Navy Stripped Rose card

Today I have another project made using the Cricut Explore and an SVG that I purchased online. When I saw this rose I had to have it! I really really want Cricut to do an entire cartridge with flowers like this! Hello, Provo Craft, are you listening?

I just recently came back from a long over due vacation. Before I left, I shopped around for some things to wear. Well, it appears that black and white as well as navy and white is all the rage this spring. These combos paired with coral is a winner, so I decided to make a project using that color palette. This may be one of my favorite projects I have ever made! The moral to this story is, look for inspiration in everything! You won't believe the places you will find it.

I cannot share files that are made with SVGs. Since they are not purchased through PC the system does not allow sharing. However, you can buy this SVG from Lettering Delights. It is part of a bundle called Queen of the Castle.

Beautiful card! And the colors an paper are outta this world. I agree, there's inspiration everywhere, ya just have to be aware and open to all of it. Mother Nature does have a great eye for color.

Beautiful!!! You are so right about looking for inspiration everywhere! I was watching a movie awhile back and loved the pattern of the carpet in a scene. I turned that into a background on a scrapbook layout...lol!

Hi Melanie!!
I absolutely love, love , love navy, white and pinks in the spring!! Especially navy & white stripes, they look so nautical. This card hits everything I love about the spring!! I was wondering if you would share the links to the SVG files for the flower and striped background ?? I read through your post several times and couldn't find them. I do have the Cricut Explore but have not tried it yet, and would love to make this card for my Daughter-in-Law for her April 9th birthday. Margaret is all about nautical, navy, white and pink!! This could not be more perfect<3
Best Regards,

Love your card. I think you're right about inspiration being everywhere. I know I've become much more aware of the beauty around me since I started papercrafting.

The multi layered rose is gorgeous! I love the patterned papers you used to design in with instead of all plain card stock. The patterns give it so much more interest even.
And it all looks so great on the bold navy stripes. You have a great talent for mixing patterns which look great together. Not always an easy task.
Thanks for sharing! :)
