Warm Winter Wishes card made using the Merry and Bright cartridge.

Hello, friends!

 
Today I have a card that I made for the Bitten by the Bug 2 Monday Challenge. This weeks challenge called for a winter project, so I thought I would make snowflake card. 

I used the Merry and Bright cartridge (this week's giveaway) for the snowflake and Artiste for the shape behind the snowflake.

Sometimes it is fun to make your own patterned paper. It is simple to do and makes your project so much better! For this card I used a stamp set from the Frosted Card Workshop because it has multiple snowflakes. I simply stamped them using different ink colors to give the paper more dimension and interest. This time I even overlapped the stamps. I normally do not do this, but I like the effect it gave.

I added some washi tape to the inside of the card. This is my favorite use for washi tape!

    Love the color of this card, I guess I would call it "soft teal." Just glad we don't have snowflakes here in Florida LOL.
