I love you gift bag made using the Mother's Day Phrases digital cartridge.

Hello, friends!

I hope you are all having a great week so far. Mine has been some what challenging, but all in all it is ok.

Today I have a gift bag made using the Mother's Day Phrases digital cartridge. I have seen several people make beautiful things with it, so I wanted to have a go and see what I could come up with. I have not made a gift bag in a while and with Mother's Day being Sunday, I thought I should make something to put my mom's gift in. I love how it turned out and hope she loves it too!

I apologize for the poor photos. It was a very cloudy day and I had a ton of trouble getting a decent photo of the bag.
I used a combo of DCWV paper and Double Dot from Bo Bunny.
I added a little bit of eyelet lace and ribbon across the top.

    Love the bag!! I think dressing up a gift bag is the best cost saving, since you can buy a bulk of bags @ the craft store & let your creativity go crazy!!

    I'm fairly new to the Cicut family... my kids gave me a Create for Christmas and I am now about to buy an Expression :)... This is a great idea and since I sew too, I am wondering if it is possible to cut fabric with the Cricut and make this bag out of fabric? Since these shapes are simple, it wouldn't be too hard to applique them on a sturdy bag... What a beautiful gift!

    Love the bag. You asked for us to let you know what we would like to see more of. I struggle with organization of scrapbook items and also, I can't seem to to get started on a page, I draw blanks and would like to set up as you have said kits for myself to take to crops but I can't get past what do I do? How should I layout the pics, what paper? etc. I would love to get the hang of this. Now I am just following what others do as I have no ideas of my own or how to. Thanks Phyllis (fefelu)
