I have another tutorial for you today using the card feature on your NEW CTMH ART PHILOSOPHY cartridge. Yes, this cartridge has a card feature! What does this cartridge not have? Seriously people, it has it all!
Here are all of the cuts from the card feature.
Here is the card we are going to make. Have I ever told you guys that purple is my favorite color? It is! I'm not sure why, but it makes me happy!
I used the Sonoma paper pack from Close To My Heart. I cut the card out at 5 1/4" and this is what it looks like.
Then I scored it and folded it in half.
Next, I cut out this square as an outline for the card at 5 1/2".
I glued this to the card base.
Notice the great shape in the center of the card? There is a chipboard shape that matches that comes with the bundle! Cool, right! I decided it would be great to put that in the center so that it comes through from the back of the card.
I then cut a piece to out line the shape at 3".
Here are the pieces...Everything in the picture below is cut out at 2" except for the chipboard (because I did not cut it out).
I then stamped the cut out on the left hand side using these inks and stamps:
Here is the first stamp..
Next, I glued on the outline and then glued the entire thing to the chipboard.
Then adhered it to the base.
Let's add some ribbon (ribbon is from papertrey ink)...
Here I trimmmed the tails...
This paper pack has some coordinating embellishments...
I think the cream colored flowers work best.
Ok, that's it! Not too bad right? Isn't it cool that you can add that little bit of chipboard to the center? Love it!
