I have wanted to cut this flamingo forever! Flamingos have always been one of my favorites presumably because they are pink and who doesn't like a pink bird! It is Joy's favorite which I think is because she is from Miami.
Serenade was used to make the card. I think I have now pretty much used this cartridge up. I have to admit I went a little Serenade crazy as of late!
| The paper used is from My Mind's Eye. |
| The flamingo is cut out at 3 1/2". |
Have a great day!
How cute!!! Flamingos do make one smile...could this be why Joy is always so happy...I love it when you really let us know your favorite cartridges and keep creating so much with it because it just showcases that cartridge to its fullest and I love that...you just keep rockin' it :)

ReplyDeleteVery neat card. I have a friend in Colorado who used to live in Florida who is gaga for flamingos so I should have this cartridge and made her a card. She took her lawn flamingos to Colorado when she moved from Fla. Bet they look great in a snowbank. LOL

The ribbon and button was the perfect finishing touch. Cute card, I think I will lift this if you don't mine.
ReplyDeletesuch a nice card. Love the flamingo and the button trim. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteCute card. Like the choice of flamingo with the colors. Did you know that a flamingo gets its peach/pink color from the food it eats?

ReplyDeleteFlorida when we lived there, or course some of them were plastic, LOL.
What a cute cut. Did you have any trouble with the skinny little legs? I am still playing with my settings and I find that sometimes my papers tear with tiny cuts.
