Birthday Wishes card made using the NEW Ornamental Iron II cartridge!

Hello, friends!

What was your favorite cartridge of the release? This was a FABULOUS release! I felt they kind of blew the doors off with this one.

Don't forget my Hello Thursday giveaway

Today card is made using the NEW Ornamental Iron II cartridge. I know most people think of very ornate cuts, which this cartridge has, but it also has some great geometric stuff.

The paper used is a combination of Echo Park and Bo Bunny paper.
The ribbon and stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
I cut the geometric shape out at 4 1/2".

Thanks so much for coming over to see me today. I have tons more things made using the new cartridge, so be sure to check back in with me tomorrow to see what I have up my sleeve!

Oh and make sure you check out what wonderful things Joy has made over on Obsessed with Scrapbooking by clicking here ==> Obsessed with Scrapbooking

Have a wonderful week!

  1. Good card for a teen :) My thought is I feel they hit a home run with the original Ornamental Iron cartridge it's not like the Paper Lace cartridges which are totally different.

  5. Umm, ok, I could get behind the geometric part of this cart totally as well as the victorian frilly part. I only received OI 1 just a few days ago and haven't even cracked the clamshell packaging.

I'm miffed about the whole mystique behind all the new releases. Why can't we see the images? They're all so small, plus, where are the layer/feature images?

I love the projects you have made from the new carts, just can't imagine where you got them from since we can't see the whole picture(s)!

  54. I haven't yet caught on to the hype about the ornamental iron cartridges, but I often find I don't fall in love with a cartridge until I own it can truly explore it. Maybe it's just because i don't seem to have a lot of creativity. Seeing your card helps me see in a different light bacause I think your idea is simple yet beautiful!
