smile! card made using the NEW Cricut Decals cartridge!

Hello, friends!

It's Friday, folks! Ok, a few of you had some questions about the Scrap & Easel that I talked about yesterday.

-The first question was how to find this product. Now, to make things easier for you, I usually highlight and bold words that I have linked to another site. Yesterday was no exception, so if you click on the words 'Scrap & Easel', it will take you to the Scrap & Easel site.

-Someone else was confused at what it does, so I will give you more of a full purpose instead of what I am mainly going to use it for (which is photography). The Scrap & Easel allows you to scrapbook at more of an upright position. Instead of hunching over your table to scrapbook, you can sit in a chair upright and see your page completely. Also, it comes with super strong magnets to hold pieces of your layout to your layout before you decide to glue them down. In fact, the Scrap & Easel has three positions "flat", "inverted", and "work". The flat is fantastically flat too! Which is great because it makes storing much easier.  Also, the workspace has measurements and comes with a magnetic ruler.

Ok, now lets talk about today's card. I made it using the new E2 machine and one of the new cartridges that is included with the machine, Cricut Decals. I asked over at Everyday Cricut yesterday if anyone had any questions about the machine. We are going to answer them and post them next week over at Everyday Cricut, so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask! We will do our very best to answer them for you!

The paper is from Bo Bunny.
I cut this cute little figure out at 2 1/2".
This is from Emma's 'Turn That Frown Upside Down' collection.
The ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by this week! I look forward to seeing you all back here next week! Have a most fabulous and creative weekend!

(((hugs)))

  3. Cute card Melanie!

I have seen the Scrap Easel before. What a great idea, using it for photo taking. I think it would be great to have my work "proped up" so to speak just to get a better feel for what I'm working on. The only thing holding me back was the cost.

I'll be watching your videos on the E2 as well! thanks

  6. Hello: I have a question. I notice din the video for the E2 that you can change the mat size. I thought I noticed the 6x12 mat.

Can the machine cut using all 3 mat sizes?

Also can the machine work with the Gypsy yet?

Also, can the machine work with the cri-kits gel pens?

Those are the questions that I have so far. Thanks for allowing me to ask.

  22. What a fun & colorful card! The character looks like a happy, little marshmallow :o) Don't have ?s about the E2 as I haven't researched it enough to figure out if it's going to be a future purchase or not. Will look forward to next week's Q&A on Everday Cricut. Thanks!

  23. Love the card! Love the easel! Love the E2! Would LOVE to have the fundage to purchase all applicable parts/pieces! Is it possible to get the easel for a give-away? I'm a teacher whose daughter just got married so my crafting fundage is going to be limited until I pay off her fairy tale. (Maybe in a couple of years . . .) :)
