I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My house was finally cleaned and laundry is all caught up! However, this week is Spring Break so lets see how long the clean house lasts :-(
Today's card is the fourth card in my Card Making with the Cricut Basics series. It is about the rule of three. This is one of my favorite things to do with Cricut cuts. All you have to do is cut out three of the same thing or three complimenting things and VOILA!
I used Picturesque for the beautiful flower and Paper Lace for the sentiment.
The paper is Bo Bunny Double Dot.
I cut the flowers out at 1 1/2".
'Celebrate' was cut out at 1 1/2".
Have a MAGICAL Monday!

ReplyDeleteMelanie,
ReplyDeletethank you for sharing. This is a simple card and perfect to begin my cricut journey. I was a cricut hoarder since day 1 with baby cricut. This past Sunday my friend, Sarah, and I got out the Cricut for Beginner DVD and did 2 lessons and thus began my plan to learn year of learning my cricut and my gypsy. So, this is something we can do and feel accomplish. I have a crop at my house this weekend with several ladies (more than half) who just have gotten cricuts and are just starting so these two projects might be good to do on Saturday for fun. Mahalo!

p.s. You'll need to do a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands with scrapping and cricut -- there is a 10 day one with some days totally at sea I believe or a 7 days one. Wouldn't that be cool
Beautiful! I'm truly lovin' Paper Lace. I'm using it to make paper charger plates for my daughter's wedding. And we're using Picturesque to add corner flourishes to frames for tables. Gotta love em!!!
ReplyDeleteI really like those floweres. Great card. TFS Hugs, Debi

ReplyDeleteIn the heat of the summer night, in the land of the dollar bill...Sorry. Everytime I hear "Paper lace"- this is what comes to mind. (I am dating myself- but it was a band while I was growing up) Al that I know is- I could rock some cards with this cartridge. I'd love to win~ but if I don't, very soon, I will break down and buy it. lisadonofrio@comcast.net
