It seems like it is going to be another snow day for me. Can you say stir crazy? The coziness and relaxation aspect of it has worn off. I seriously need to leave this house! Please oh please let this ice melt soon! I hope you are all not feeling as caged as I feel with the snow storms that you are enduring!
Today I have a card that I made using Reminisce Accents cartridge. It is such a super simple card to make. So easy, in fact, that I made it while gabbing on the phone with Joy!
The paper and ribbon are from Close To My Heart.
The stamp is from Papertrey Ink.
I cut this out at 1 1/2".
Have a terrific Thursday!
What a beautiful card...this is exactly what I would send to you and Joy for when you don't have a post. We have lotsa snow too. Our weather this winter has been extremely frigid..but I've had weeks where I literally spend 3 or 4 days from 8 a.m. til 4 p.m. in my scrapbooking room and craft away I love it...I get my cup "o" joe and we have a great time...

That card is just beautiful, especially the paper! I am in Kansas and we had about 12" of snow. It drifted up on my front porch and covered the front door! I had 5 boys for an overnight last night! But.... my baby is 17, so I am well past the age of your son! I enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing
Susan

WOW Melanie! This is BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE that paper and the cut and the ribbon... Heck it's BEAUTIFUL.... Oh wait I said that already! :o) Sometimes the paper just does wonders for a quick card... Love it! I didn't get any snow... but we did get a nice touch of freezing weather... We got around -20 degrees Tuesday night.... Wednesday afternoon a pipe broke... not good.... Then last night was -10 degrees sooo warming up a little! LOL we should be in the 40's by Saturday... My city wasn't even in the path of the storm and yet it still affected us to some degree... Stay warm Melanie... it will get better! :o)

ReplyDeleteLovely papers. I am a bird lover so anything with birds on it I am drawn to them. Stay warm and craft happy. We are supposed to get some wintery mix later tonight and tomorrow. The trucks have started to spray the brine mix on the roads. Hope it doen't get bad though. I took a vacation day off work tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThat is just beautiful! the colors, and everything. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteStill icy here in Mesquite. Fortunately, I have had to go to work and it isn't too bad after I get out of the neighborhood. Most drivers are being sensible. Snow tomorrow 1-3 inches.
