O Christmas Tree O Christmas tree...card made using the NEW Trim the Tree Mini

Hello, friends! I hope you all had great weekends! I got a lot done this weekend, so it was a very productive one for me!

Today I have a card that I made using the NEW Trim the Tree mini. This cartridge has such elegant and delicate cuts. It is definitely one for those of you who are not into cutesy or whimsical cuts. This cartridge is great for cards, layouts, and even home decor!

I used DCWV Fall stack.
I cut the Christmas tree at 4" using DCWV glitter paper.
the stamp set is from Close To My Heart.
The little brown opaque pearls are also from Close To My Heart.
Totally off subject, but this weekend I have discovered Judith Ripka jewelry on QVC. It looks so beautiful and it is exactly my style. Have any of you ever bought any of her pieces? I am thinking of adding a few pieces to my Christmas list, but want to make sure the stuff is high quality. Her stuff is just so beautiful!!

Have a great week!!

  5. Beautiful card! It's so elegant.

I haven't watched much jewelry on QVC since Mike Rowe (now of dirty jobs and Ford spokesman) used to help Joan Rivers sell her line there :D.

Maybe you should order a small "test" piece to see for your self :D.

  6. I love your card! I wish I had this cartridge already because I have an idea to make one that stands up using chipboard. Your cards rock, and always inspire me! Thank you. As for the jewelry, I sorry I can't help you.

  7. Very nice card. Caught my eye right away.
Judith Ripka jewelry is very good quality. A little pricey but for the quality it's worth it. Another is Southwest jewelry. Very nice and good material for the money.

  21. I just LOVE this card!! Wonderful work, as always.
NOW...Ripka rocks!! I have many of her pieces, most of which have been purchased when they were TSVs. Her earrings are great because of the unique closure, like omega backs. Nice weighty jewelry, and I really like the overlay pieces. She really does match the design and workmanship from her high end line (and her store on 5th Ave in NYC is to DIE!) and translate them to her sterling line. Go for it! There is a pendant on the Ripka page that is on 5 easy pays. It's a great piece and something you may want to try as a starter piece to check it out. Not inexpensive but lovely pieces! Can you tell I'm a fan??
    all the best-

  31. Melanie, if you like the style of Judith Ripka's jewelry, you won't be disappointed in the quality!! I'm one of many "QVC Queens" & have heard nothing but rave reviews; many of the hosts own her pieces (I believe the ones that she brings to QVC are designed especially for QVC but she has a high-end designer shop in NY...with designer price tags of course ;)!!). Also, QVC has a great return policy so you can comfortably buy 1 piece, get it home, make sure you like it before you get addicted to her jewelry...it's a great way for you to make sure it's right for you. Sorry for the long post, but I hope this info helps!!
