thank you card made using WIld Card cricut cartridge

Hello, friends!

I hope you are all having a great week! This week is a busy one for me because I have finals next week, so I am trying to get a bunch of things committed to memory. Have I told all of you how much I hate College Algebra! Seriously!! I know I will never use most of the things I am learning in that class!

Ok, enough of my complaining....on to the card!

I made the card using the Wild Card cartridge. I admit I have not used it much, but this cut on it is a personal favorite. This is the first time I have remembered to use it!

The card is an A2 card and the argyle cut was cut at 5 1/4". This fits the A2 size perfectly!

the scalloped frame is also from the gem of a cartridge and was cut at 3 1/4". 'Thanks' was cut at 3 3/4" and is also from this fantastic cartridge!

If you notice the stamping on the inside, it is a stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I just couldn't resist using it after I made the front of the card....perfect match!!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  8. The only print I love more than Argyle is plaid :D. Love the stamped inside matching the card front. Ok it's followed closely by Houndstooth and tiny polka dots. But I reallly love Argyle... and plaid lol.

You know what kind of socks pirates wear .... Arrrrrrg - Gyles :D.

  11. Love it! Maybe this will help with your studies. Good luck next week! "Learning algebra isn't about acquiring a specific tool; it's about building up a mental muscle that will come in handy elsewhere. You don't go to the gym because you're interested in learning how to operate a StairMaster; you go to the gym because operating a StairMaster does something laudable to your body, the benefits of which you enjoy during the many hours of the week when you're not on a StairMaster." -- Steven Johnson, "Everything Bad Is Good For You"

  44. Cute card. Re:Algebra~you will use LOTS of the stuff you're learning! Just not in the formal way that you are learning Algebra. I'm a retired 8th grade Algebra teacher. Parents would say "I never got it so how can I expect Junior to get it." I would think, Hey! you balance your checkbook, buy houses, buy on sale, figure which butter is the better buy...All Algebra! Good Luck on finals.

If you think college algebra is bad, wait till you do calculus
(that's if its in your plans).
